Pro Tips for a Perfect Homemade Latte
The Magic Ratio: For a 250 ml latte, use a ratio of 20-25 ml of syrup for 60 ml of coffee and 170-180 ml of milk.
The Foam: Use cold milk and an electric frother or a French Press to achieve a fine and creamy foam. "Barista" plant-based milks (oat, almond) perform the best.
No Coffee? Simply replace the 60 ml of espresso with 60 ml of very strong brewed black tea (for aspiced Tea Latte) or with chicory for a roasted flavour without caffeine.
Express FAQ
Can I mix two syrups? Yes, absolutely! Keep it to 25–30 ml in total. E.g.: 15 mlVanilla+ 10 ml Hazelnut.
And without coffee? Hot chocolate, strong black tea, or simply flavoured hot milk. The syrup of Cookie is perfect for that.
Does it work cold in winter? Yes! An iced latte after a hearty meal works very well to avoid the "too heavy drink" effect.
What milk to use for the foam? Whole milk gives a dense foam. For plant-based options, oat or almond "Barista" milk is highly recommended.
